Thembalitsha - South Africa

The Thembalitsha Foundation is a South African NGO (non governmental organisation) reaching out to the poor and needy people of the Western Cape. Their vision is simple but profound:

'To provide hope through caring'. 

Thembalitsha's focus is on social development, with a particular emphasis on the lives of people who are infected or affected by HIV and AIDS. 

Winslow Christian Fellowship has long-established links to Thembalitsha through our local friends, Tim and Maz Walker.

After making several trips to the Cape region of South Africa to work with Thembalitsha, each time returning with an increased passion for the local people and more and more determined to increase awareness and practical help for them, they are now living at the Village of Hope in Grabouw.
