"Glory in the cafe" dates
Do you know that for many retailers whether it be food, fashion or gardening, Sunday is now the busiest day of the week? As fanatical MK Dons season ticket holders, we are very aware that Sunday is also a busy day on the sporting calendar and many activities for young people also take on a Sunday too. With all this pressure, that old thought of a lie in seems something that took place in the distant past!
Church for many on a Sunday is not possible due to these things and many other pressures in our 24/7 society. We are also aware from talking to many people that they would still love an opportunity to explore church, but simply cannot fit it in with everything else going on. If this is you, then a new opportunity (including cakes and cuppas) has opened up in Winslow. You are most welcome to pop in and see what is going on.
Winslow Vineyard Church have started to meet on a regular basis on a Wednesday evening from 8pm in Jennie Wren's Tea Rooms in the Market Square.

This is in addition to our Sunday morning meetings (10.15am at the Winslow centre, top of Park Road).
We start with refreshments and the sound of chatter over a cuppa before moving into a time of contemporary worship.
We are informal in style and our welcome is “Come as you are” whether you know anything about the Christian faith or not! The last gathering was very well attended and we have been encouraged by the feedback.
Autumn dates are 29th September and 10th November, so come along to Jennie Wren's to “Glory in the cafe”.
Please give Hazel or Tony a call on 01296-712087 if you would like to know more!
