What to expect on Sundays

Dropping into a new church for the first time can be a bit daunting, so to help your visit to Winslow Vineyard go a bit easier here’s what you are likely to meet during the morning:

Essentials first ... coffee / tea / juice and delicious edible goodies from 10.15 with time to chat with one another.

At 10.30 we are welcomed to the service, and then spend around 15/20 minutes in contemporary worship where we express our praise to and love for God in song. At this point our children / youngsters will make their way to their own ‘age-related’ groups known as ‘Energy Zone’. There is plenty for them to do there as they, like the adults, get to know more about Jesus in a real and life-changing way.

As the children leave, the adults will continue in prayer and / or another time of worship. Then we will hear how the Word of God can be applied to our everyday life. As the service draws to a close there is an opportunity for people to receive personal prayer, should they wish to. We aim to finish by 12 noon.  Once a month we share communion to remember the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made for us, and celebrate his victory over death.

The whole thing takes place in a relaxed / friendly atmosphere. Most people dress casually and enjoy a chat at the end of the service too.
